Consistency is required everywhere then why not in leadership! Often, we think success is about doing things over and over and over again, and eventually, we don’t see results. But if you’ve ever been overwhelmed, you know what doesn’t always work. This article will give a reason and way of consistency in leadership.

Consistency in leadership

To really see the ward upward movement in your life, you need to learn how to create a continuity cocktail.

The consistency is made up of three key ingredients and should not be used in equal quantities as in any good cocktail.

Material 1: Walking Walking

This first ingredient makes up the largest portion of your cocktail. “Your walk” (and simply “not for your words”) describes the little steps you’ve taken to breathe life into your values throughout your life.

It’s not enough just to say you have value. You really have to live with them in your little moments.

For example, one of my core values is caring for the lowest, the last, and then forgotten. It shapes how I talk to people, what projects I take, and the way I invest my money.

Material 2: Why you are connected

By constantly reminding yourself of the meaning of money, why you are tired, stressed, or anxious can allow you to apply energy to your activities.

I’m taking better care of my health than ever before, and that’s because I’m more attached to myself:

I want to stay fit so I can live longer for my kids and their kids because I don’t want to look good in photos. Once you have this mental shift, everything will change.

Component 3: Slight disruption

It’s magic stuff – you just need a pinch of it. Continuity without interruption is just a routine. The barrier means moving from the stable to the cutting edge.

I’m a huge believer in conducting a self-review every 90 days. That deadline is enough to make sure you aren’t jumping from goal to goal.

During your self-review, ask yourself: What have been my major successes over the past three months?

How did I proceed? I’m still moving in the direction I want to go? Is there a better way to do things?

When properly mixed, this cocktail will allow you to build your confidence and be more purposeful in how you use your time and energy.

I hope this article on consistency in leadership was useful to you.
